Sciences Po Interviews AURELA Researchers

Sciences Po has published an interview with five researchers from the AURELA project, offering an overview of the consortium's origins, research agenda and long-term ambitions. Bringing together contributions from Rafael Mesquita (UFPE), Frédéric Ramel (Sciences Po/CERI-CNRS), Carola Klöck (Sciences Po/CERI-CNRS), Ana Paula Tostes (UERJ) and Kevin Parthenay (University of Tours and Sciences Po/CERI-OPALC), the interview explores the project's three core research themes and discusses how renewed cooperation between Europe and Latin America can contribute to addressing today's geopolitical, environmental and democratic challenges.

The interview was published following AURELA's launch event, held at Sciences Po on 29 June 2026, which officially marked the beginning of the four-year Franco-Brazilian research partnership.
