AURELA Project Meeting in Rio de Janeiro
On October 26, 2026, members of the AURELA project gathered at Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ), Brazil, for a meeting bringing together researchers from Axis 1 (Climate Change) and Axis 3 (Fundamental Rights), both in person and online.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss key aspects of the CAPES–COFECUB project's management, review ongoing and upcoming academic mobilities, and coordinate future activities. Particular attention was given to Adam Contu's ongoing research stay in Rio de Janeiro and Rennan Pastich Loureiro's upcoming mobility to Paris in November.
Participants also discussed the project's forthcoming activities, including participation in the International Studies Association (ISA) Annual Convention in Atlanta and the International Political Science Association (IPSA) World Congress in Rome, as well as the organization of two Policy Dialogues, scheduled for Paris in January 2027 and Rio de Janeiro in April 2027.
